On December 14, 2025, officers with Butner Public Safety (BPS) were dispatched to an armed robbery that had just occurred at Skillz, located at 1555 NC Highway 56 in Creedmoor, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers determined that two masked individuals had entered the establishment and robbed the business at gun point and tied up two of the employees taking an undisclosed amount of money. The license plate information was obtained through the initial investigation and a description of the vehicle, and its license plate was given to the surrounding counties. A deputy with the Durham County Sheriff’s Office observed the suspect vehicle traveling south on I-85 and conducted a vehicle stop. Further investigation led to the arrest of the sole occupant of the vehicle who was 55-year-old Christopher Stewart of Raleigh, NC. He was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. He was also served with three (3) outstanding warrants for arrest out of Wake, Randolph, and Davidson counties.
Warrants for arrest were also obtained on the following individuals who have not been arrested:
Corey Albright, 45-years-old of Graham, NC is wanted for conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Jequan Deandre Currie, 32-years-old of Burlington, NC is wanted for conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Demonte Raekwon Fuller, 29-years-old of Burlington, NC is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and 2 counts of 1st degree kidnapping.
Charles Lewis Compton, 49-years-old, of Burlington, NC is wanted for robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of firearm by a felon, and 2 counts of 1st degree kidnapping.

Man Accused Of Motor Vehicle Theft in Greensboro, Abandons Vehicle in the ACSO Parking Lot
On Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:45 am, the Lieutenant on B Patrol was exiting the parking lot of the Alamance County Sheriff`s Office when he observed a gold Honda in the ACSO parking lot.
Being familiar with the vehicles which are typically in the parking lot at that hour, a check of the registration was requested on the vehicle. The registration check indicated the vehicle was stolen having recently been entered by Greensboro Police Department.
The vehicle was found to be unoccupied with the key was in the ignition. The stolen vehicle information included a description of the suspect who allegedly stole the vehicle. Another Deputy arrived on scene and stated he saw an individual matching the same description walking on Pine St. in Graham, NC alongside of the Alamance County Detention Center.
Deputies circulated the area and found the suspect, identified as Robert Charles Anthony King, at the intersection of S. Maple St. and Ward St. in Graham, NC.
Video surveillance was instrumental in identifying Mr. King as the driver and sole occupant of the stolen Honda. Mr. King was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.

Burlington Man Facing Felony Charges Of Alleged Theft At Burlington Shrine Club
On Friday, December 5, 2025, Detectives with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division were requested to follow up on a Breaking and Entering at the Burlington Shrine Club on Plantation Drive in Burlington.
The stolen vehicles were a part of the Shriners Fire Brigade normally seen in parades.
During the investigation, it determined that three (3) custom-made go-karts, a Kawasaki minibike, and three (3) Predator/212cc engines were stolen. The reporting party informed Detectives that the go-karts were for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The Facebook Marketplace post was located.
As a result of the investigation, Detectives identified Na’mir Antonio Hunt as the suspect. Mr. Hunt was determined to be the person who listed the go-karts for sale. During an interview, Mr. Hunt, stated to Investigators that he did in fact post the go-karts on Facebook Marketplace for sale.
Mr. Hunt was taken into custody and charged with three (3) counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods/Property.
After continuing investigations, Mr. Hunt was additionally charged with Felony Breaking and or Entering, Felony Larceny of Motor Vehicle (4), Felony Larceny After Breaking and or Entering, Felony Possession of Stolen Goods/Property (4). Mr. Hunt turned himself in on Thursday December 11, 2025

Burlington, NC | On December 1, 2025, officers with the Burlington Police Department attempted to serve felony arrest warrants at 828 Cornwallis Drive in Burlington, in the matter of Lashawn Warren Crump, 44 years of age, of Burlington. Crump was wanted on multiple felony criminal offenses related to property crimes. Crump was taken into custody and charged, in addition to the felony warrants, with Resist, Delay & Obstruct and Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Burlington Police Department with this arrest, and officers remained at the scene for approximately four (4) hours. On December 2, 2025, at approximately 7:16 a.m., Alamance County Emergency Medical Services, the Burlington Fire Department, and the Burlington Police Department responded to a pedestrian collision with injuries on the I-40 westbound on-ramp near Maple Avenue.
The suspect vehicle did not remain on the scene. The pedestrians struck have been identified as a juvenile and their mother, who are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. At this time, no life-threatening injuries have been reported.
The investigation revealed that the juvenile and their mother were traveling north on foot along Maple Avenue toward a nearby school. As they attempted to cross the I-40 westbound on-ramp, a white Dodge Ram truck turned left from Maple Avenue onto the interstate and struck both the mother and child. The truck had a green signal when turning and initially stopped to check on the two pedestrians, but ultimately left the scene.
The Burlington Police Department investigated the crash and identified the driver as Jose Lopez, 51 years of age, of Graham, NC. Mr. Lopez was located and has since been charged with (M) Hit-and-Run.

Driver And Passenger Charged With Multiple Felonies During Traffic Stop
On Sunday evening, November 30, 2025, at 10:00 pm, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Lower Hopedale Rd. north of Burlington, NC. The vehicle was stopped for failure to maintain proper lane control.
On approach to the vehicle, Deputies observed the odor of what was believed to be marijuana. Both the driver, identified as Alexander Poole and passenger identified as Leon Galloway, were instructed to exit the vehicle.
Deputies then conducted a probable cause search of Mr. Poole and Mr. Galloway. A search was also conducted on the vehicle. During the search, Deputies discovered what as believed to be Cocaine and Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol.
Mr. Poole and Mr. Galloway were arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.

Burlington, NC | On October 16, 2025, the Burlington Police Department investigated a report of sexual exploitation allegations. As a result of the initial investigation, Hector Martinez, 30 years old, was charged with third-degree exploitation of a minor and was given a $15,000 secured bond.
Detectives with the Burlington Police Department continued the investigation and discovered additional criminal acts. On November 20, 2025, Martinez, who was out on bond, was arrested and charged additionally with Statutory Rape, Incest, Indecent Liberties with a Minor, First-Degree Exploitation of a Minor, and twenty-seven (27) counts of Third-Degree Exploitation of a Minor.
Martinez is at the Alamance County Detention Facility and is being held without bond at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.

On August 16, 2024 at approximately 11:17 p.m., the Burlington Police Department and Burlington Fire Department responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 2700 Block of Maple Ave involving a pedestrian on a bicycle. The pedestrian, Michael Blake Hensley, a 31-year-old white male from Burlington, succumbed to his injuries while on scene.

In June 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to multiple Cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the course of the investigation, Elijah Nathanael Beebe of Alamance County was identified as a suspect.
On November 05, 2025, Elijah Nathanael Beebe was taken into custody by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and was transported to a detention center in N. Charleston, SC, where he was arraigned on eight (8) counts of Felony Second- Degree Exploitation of a Minor. Beebe is being held without bond, pending extradition back to Alamance County, North Carolina. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Invictus Task Force representatives.

Media Release: Man Arrested After Multiple 911 Calls Reporting Reckless Driving and Possible Kidnapping
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 6:52 pm, the Burlington Communications Center (BCC) received multiple 911 calls reporting a dark Dodge Ram pickup driving recklessly with a woman attempting to jump from the moving vehicle. One of these calls originated from the Econo Lodge of Burlington which was believed to be connected to a domestic disturbance.
During the investigation, surveillance footage from several cameras showed a white female wearing a red shirt holding onto the bed of a Dodge Ram with a Virginia license tag. The vehicle was last seen near Maple Ave. approaching the I-40 East on-ramp. Individuals matching the description were later reported in the area of Highway 54 and Thom Rd. in southeastern Alamance County. Responding to the last known location given, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) Deputies did not locate the vehicle.
Burlington Police Officers requested assistance from the ACSO Strike Team. Investigative leads placed the suspect vehicle in the Carrboro area, prompting the ACSO Strike Team to request additional support from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team.
The joint strike team located the suspect vehicle near Chapel Hill. The driver, identified as Stephen Frost, was detained without incident. The female victim was not in the vehicle at the time of the stop, and efforts immediately shifted to locating her.
With assistance from the Mebane Police Department, the victim was found safely within the City of Mebane. She was uninjured and confirmed she had been taken against her will.
Frost was transported from Orange County and released to Burlington Police Department investigators. Mr. Frost was later transported to the Alamance County Detention Center where he remains.

Burlington, NC | The Criminal Investigations Division continued investigating the shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Huffman Mill Road on November 5, 2025. The victim was identified as a 19-year-old male who is expected to make a full recovery. Detectives were able to determine that four (4) individuals were responsible for the shooting, of which two have been identified and arrested.
Michael Olmos, 18-year-old male, was taken into custody on November 10, 2025, without incident. He was charged with the following:
• Conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon
• Robbery with a dangerous weapon
• Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury
• Discharging a weapon into an occupied moving vehicle
Dantrell Bellanger, 18-year-old male, was taken into custody on November 13, 2025, without incident. He was charged with the following:
• Conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon
• Robbery with a dangerous weapon
• Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury
• Discharging a weapon into an occupied moving vehicle
Both are currently being held at the Alamance County Jail. The shooting was determined to be an isolated event between the victim and the individuals involved. The investigation is still ongoing in attempts to identify the other individuals involved. Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon Investigation
Burlington, NC | On November 4, 2025, at approximately 3:23 a.m., officers from the Burlington Police Department responded to Cruizers Gas Station, located at 728 N Church Street, in reference to a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with an employee who reported the suspect produced a firearm, demanding money. No injuries were reported.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6” to 6-6” tall, medium build, wearing a white mask, a faded pink hat, and a dark colored “forever blessed” hoodie, and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

Burlington, NC | On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at approximately 3:33 p.m., officers from the Burlington Police Department responded to Food Lion, located at 2208 N. Church Street, in reference to a reported robbery.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who was unharmed. The victim reported being approached inside the store by a Black male who asked them to step outside to continue a conversation. Once in the parking lot, the suspect produced a firearm and demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.
The preliminary investigation describes the suspect as a Black male, of unknown height, and slender build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white sneakers, a black and white baseball cap, and a gold necklace.
